RAM Industries Inc. is an established manufacturing company seeking expertise to fill the role of Quality Assurance Technician. The ideal incumbent brings a wide range of support to production team. This position is located at our head office and Manufacturing unit in Yorkton, SK.
The position plays an important role in providing support to the RAM Quality  System, Customer  Quality, and ISO system maintenance and should be capable of inspecting and documenting parts and products
Duties:
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced and received
Document quality procedures per Quality System and discuss inspection results with concern
Remove products and materials that fail the inspection, and work with stakeholders to determine disposition
Recommend & implement improvements to manufacturing that improve quality
Coordinate and perform calibration of measuring equipment
Recommend improvements to manufacturing and design that improve quality; and Complete NC (Non conformity) & CA (Corrective Action Reports), RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) and complete the root cause analysis
By reducing the frequency of in-process and finished good quality issues, the QA is expected to make a measurable contribution to increased plant capacity, reduced labour, rework cost, material usage, warranty claim expense, and overall company competitiveness
The QA activities must always support lean initiatives and productivity improvements as initiated by or recommended to Management, but this should not conflict with quality objectives or take priority over daily quality inspection duties
