Description

RAM Industries is seeking a Production Supervisor with experience successfully leading work crews, departments, or projects.
Working directly with the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating processes and personnel to ensure company production objectives are met.
Experience/Education
The ideal candidate will have experience progressing through a manufacturing or processing environment as a Lead Hand or Supervisor, with exposure to machine shop practices and factory flow.
A good understanding and knowledge of machining, welding, assembly, test and painting processes would be an asset.  Post-secondary education in skilled trades, engineering, production, or a related discipline is welcome.
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in a supervisory role leading people in a similar setting, ideally in unionized work environments.
Duties:
Coordinate production schedules to meet daily delivery and factory output objectives
Supervise and develop production employees to achieve established goals of productivity and quality
Work cooperatively with engineering, quality, and purchasing teams to achieve production plans
Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations, company policies, and collective bargaining agreement
Review, analyze and make recommendations for safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements
Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or designate
Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal & Problem-Solving skills
Highly motivated and self-directed, can do attitude
Computer proficiency in MS Office
