We are seeking a Summer Associate Intern at the Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation.

The Position
We seek an ambitious & eager intern to digitize our archival material, and to support the youth and membership programs.
What does success look like?
Digitization of Archives (50%)
Create a decision-making matrix to evaluate materials and identify processes to digitize;
Describe archival materials; and
Support content digitization, migration, and cataloging material.
Youth Program Support (50%)
Assist with camp administrative logistics(liaising with facilitators, service providers, etc.);
Assist with promotion and outreach to potential participants;
Keeping track of registrants and their information/accessibility requirements;
Assisting with the assembly of swag bags and informational packages before and after camp;
During the camp weekend, assist in the coordination of logistics, facilitator support, and support where needed; and
Monitor data/survey collection from both participants and facilitators.
Membership & Engagement Support (5%)
Assist with coordinating logistics and registrations for SCICs public engagement events;
Research the international development sector in Saskatchewan and develop a database of civil society organizations and private sector entities involved in global justice and the Sustainable Development Goals; and
Research intersectional gender equality topics and compile resources.
