Job Description: Within the context of the SHA's client and family centered care model and in accordance with the established standards of professional practice outlined by the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists, this position will provide neuropsychological assessment services to individuals with known or suspected neurological illness or injury.  The Psychologist Performs neuropsychological and other psychological testing for both outpatient and inpatient clients to assist in diagnosis, treatment planning, and decision-making around medical interventions, maintains an up-to-date library of neuropsychological measures so as to ensure the capacity of the neuropsychological service to provide the highest quality assessments. The Psychologist works independently and as a member of the department of Neuropsychology within Neurosciences, liaises with external agents and agencies in the care of clients throughout the healthcare continuum, attends clinical/case conferences or interdisciplinary rounds, provides formal and informal consultation to other health care providers, and evaluates effectiveness and appropriateness of neuropsychological services and resources. As well, the Psychologist participates in research, quality improvement and risk management activities, provides clinical teaching and supervision to Psychology Residents and students as required, and maintains electronic and paper client records including documenting client diagnosis, treatment, progress notes, and psychological reports.
Required Qualifications

Graduate of a Doctoral level program in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology approved by the Canadian/American Psychology Association
