Facility: ST. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL
Job Description: The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for the provision of nutrition assessments, counselling, consultations, teaching and educational services to community members and employees in St. Joseph's Hospital.
Required Qualifications

A Baccalaureate Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and completion of an approved Dietetic internship is required
Membership in the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association and Dietitians of Canada are required
Experience
Experience in the field of community dietetics is an asset. Experience in the field of community dietetics is an asset. Knowledge and application of health promotion models and strategies. Knowledge and application of community development, program planning and program evaluation. Skill in communicating human nutrition knowledge at the appropriate understanding of the client(s). Skill in nutrition assessments and providing nutrition diagnoses. Skill in developing nutrition interventions and action plans and ability to monitor and evaluate client progress.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Computer skills in such programs as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
Effective time management and organizational skills
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective teams and maintain relations based on trust, accountability, and open communications
Relevant education/experience related to program coordination and planning, program structures, community development, and data entry, collection and analysis
