Job Description: Under the direction of the program area manager, as applicable, and as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Social Worker BSW provides a range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordination services to a primarily adult community mental health and addiction population.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Social Work
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
Valid Saskatchewan driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Experience
One year (postgraduate) recognized experience in working within community mental health and addiction services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to identify, implement and evaluate areas of client difficulty across a wide range of clinical presentation and formulate evidence based interventions
Ability to prepare reports in a clear concise and timely manner
Ability to provide public presentations
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
Ability to work independently and in a self-motivated manner, ability to respond under pressure
Basic computer skills
Conflict resolution skills
Cultural competency skills
Demonstrated ability to enter and retrieve data in a computer database system
Demonstrated experience working with mental health and addiction community outreach and competence in delivery mental health and addiction crisis interventions
Demonstrated interpersonal competence including effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act and H
