SIIT is hiring a Project Manager to join our team!
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the coordination, administration, and completion of the Saskatchewan Indian Training Assessment Group (SITAG) Indigenous Labour Market Skills Inventory project. The Indigenous Labour Market Skills Inventory project aims to create a comprehensive skills inventory at the community level for Indigenous job seekers in Saskatchewan with the goal of improving access to meaningful employment opportunities. This position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT's vision, mission, and mandate.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project from start to finish, including project planning, administration, monitoring, budget management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery. The Project Manager will assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and multiple functional areas across local first nation agencies and networks. The Project Manager will have strong project management skills, experience working with Indigenous communities and a passion for creating positive social impact.
