Description

Safe housing is one of the most important pillars for people.  La Ronge Regional Housing Authority (LRRHA) is a major provider of safe and affordable housing in La Ronge and eight surrounding communities. If you are looking for a great place to work, LRRHA is hiring a new Manager. With a portfolio of approximately 200 units, an annual operating budget of $1.5M, the LRRHA offers social, family, and senior housing and also offers staff housing in one community. With four direct reports, the Manager oversees the complete operations while meeting the objectives and policies of SHC and the Board. You will promote the efficient and respectful delivery of housing benefiting tenants most in need of safe, secure, and affordable housing.

Areas of responsibility:
- Oversight of properties and assets that includes developing/maintaining plans, policies, and goals within the operational framework and developing/managing modernization and improvement plans.

- Ensure efficient, respectful delivery of safe and secure housing services and programs; develop partnerships with community agencies, government, etc. to promote, further the growth and development of the HA.

- Develop and manage annual budget, expenditures, variances, ensure tendering process and management of contracted services are compliant.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Board and ensure staff are trained, skilled, and engaged to deliver programs and services.

To be considered, you will have:
- a degree in business, social work, psychology, human services, or similar, five years' experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience;
- supervisory experience, planning, and reporting to a board, JD Edwards experience or similar system, MS Office, Residential Tenancies Act, National Building Code, tendering and contracting processes;
- respect for the diversity of others; and
- a valid SK driver's license and clear enhanced criminal record check are required.
