We are looking for dynamic individuals who are devoted to helping others and improving the lives & wellbeing of children and families to join our team in the Meadow Lake office as a Child Protection Assistant Supervisor. In this role, you will supervise, manage, and implement programs designed to provide protective, preventative, and support services to children, parents and foster families utilizing the Family Centered Case Management Model and P.R.I.D.E. Model of Practice.
The Ideal Candidate
As our successful candidate, you will:
- Work effectively and positively with co-workers, supervisors, management teams and caregivers
- Have knowledge of child abuse, neglect and domestic violence indicators and effects;
- Bring expertise in policy and practice for your program area
- Knowledge of multi-cultural beliefs and values, with a particular emphasis on First Nations and Mtis.
- Be experienced with a range of social work theories, and coaching/mentoring professional staff
