Determine work procedures and prepare work schedules
Train workers in the performance of duties, assign and coordinate work of employees
Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
Ask customers about the quality of the food and service
Handle any complaints in the absence of the manager and report it to him
Assist cooks in preparing the food as per guidelines
Supervise the operation of food servers or staff who serve the food to customers
Control over inventories and order the food supplies as per requirements
Check all the stocks weekly and report it to the manager
