looking for qualified and experienced commercial heat and frost insulators with a minimum 2 years practical experience for the Prince Albert area.
The position is permanent full-time. Pay will be determined based on experience or ability to progress quickly. We provide extended health benefits, vacation and holiday pay, and pension plan. We encourage apprenticeship training for those with only work experience although schooling is not necessary to be hired.
Duties will include:
Applies insulating material to exposed surfaces and structures, such as air ducts, hot and cold pipes, storage tanks, and cold storage rooms:
Read blueprints and selects required insulation material (in sheet, tubular, or roll form), such as fiberglass, foam rubber, Styrofoam, cork, or urethane, based on material's heat retaining or excluding characteristics.
Brushes adhesives on or attaches metal adhesive-backed pins to flat surfaces as necessary to facilitate application of insulation material.
Measures and cuts insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces, using tape measure, knife, or scissors.
Fits, wraps, or attaches required insulation material around or to structure, flowing blueprint specifications.
Hours of Work: Four - 10 hour workdays - Monday to Thursday.
Wages will be based upon experience.
