Job Description: The nurse is responsible for the coordination and provision of direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation of patients in the Emergency Dept/ Ambulatory Care and Surgical Services which include the Operating Room/ PAC. PACU and
Endoscopy. Job description is available upon request.
Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed the perioperative nursing program, TNCC, and ACLS.
In charge responsibilities and standby for the operating room are required.
Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or required to obtain
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Level C Health Care Provider (HCP) - Heart & Stroke
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
Perioperative Nursing/Registered Nurses - Advanced Certificate or equivalent
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
