Facility: Scott Forget Tower
Job Description: Reporting to the Director of Primary Health, the Executive Assistant is responsible for coordinating and directing communications and providing diverse confidential secretarial and administrative assistance to the department. The position provides facilitative liaison between staff, Supervisors, Managers,  and the Director.
Required Qualifications

Completion of post-secondary education from a recognized business college
Experience
Minimum of five years experience in an administrative office environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to be proactive and creative in problem solving and decision making
Ability to ensure enforcement of appropriate standards, policies and practices
Ability to function in an environment of numerous interruptions and emotionally charged situation
Ability to identify root cause and develop/recommend solutions
Ability to lead change and innovation
Ability to maintain a focus on quality and safety in all services
Ability to manage within an environment of restricted resources
Ability to plan, prioritize and oversee numerous concurrent projects effectively
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access)
Analytical skills
Knowledge of principles and processes related to performance measurement, quality improvement, best practices, risk management, strategic planning, and evidence based decision making
Knowledge of the health care system and the continuum of service delivery
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality including handling confidential informat
