WCB is recruiting a Manager, Vendor & Contracts. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Project, with a dotted line of accountability to the Director, Corporate Services, you will be responsible for vendor and contract management in three primary focus areas: leadership in the management of vendors and contracts within the scope of the Business Transformation Program; supporting Strategic Procurement in operationalization of the contract lifecycle management framework across WCB; and lead continuous improvement efforts in IT contract lifecycle management and administration.
You will work closely with the Business Transformation team to provide oversight and leadership for Vendor management and contract lifecycle management including but not limited to; managing vendor relationships, monitoring contract performance and compliance, identify and mitigate potential contractual risks and issues, developing, evaluating and implementing contracts, and be the key contact for all contract-related and procurement activities with the scope of the Business Transformation Program.
You will also work closely with the Senior Leadership team to serve as leadership level point of contact in supporting the operationalization of the contract and vendor management lifecycle management framework and continuous improvement efforts in contract management and administration within the Information Technology team.
Qualifications:
The following Education and Experience are job requirements:
-Degree in Business Administration, commerce or other related education.
-A minimum of 5 years in IT Vendor and Contract management experience.
-Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and planning skills.
-Excellent written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills that demonstrate your professionalism, innovation and integrity.
-Solid understanding of risk management.
