Aplin has partnered with a highly valued client, a leading provider of commercial and residential liquified petroleum gas, to find a President who will spearhead the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking, innovation, and a results-oriented mindset. They should be an effective listener, skilled networkers, and experienced in leading teams through periods of change.
We are seeking a confident leader with strong business acumen who is comfortable reporting to the Board of Directors and collaborating with the senior management team. The President will be responsible for developing effective plans, strategies, and policies to achieve long-term goals while providing visible leadership to all members of the organization.
This position is open to candidates in Calgary and Saskatoon.
Responsibilities:
Overall leadership of the organization includes prudent and strategic asset and resource management to drive a sustainably profitable business.
Development and effective implementation and execution of the organizations business plan, with a focus on defining goals, communicating direction, and building a long-term commitment towards a family first culture.
Ensure the financial stability of the Company and leads the strategic planning process of the management team by setting corporate strategic objectives including financial targets and investment/growth opportunities by policies and updating the board accordingly.
Responsible for overseeing the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the companys financial information, reporting and disclosure requirements, and internal control and information management systems.
Oversee the creation of a budget including capital expenditures. Seeks approval from BOD for review and approval.
