The Community Living Service Delivery Branch is seeking a highly-motivated, task-oriented, creative and flexible individual to fill the position of Community Intervention Worker for the North East Service Area in the La Ronge office.
The candidate of choice will have the knowledge and skills gained and demonstrated through a bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education psychology, nursing or a related degree in the human services. Several years of post-academic experience in the development and/or delivery of therapeutic, educative, rehabilitative, behavioural or clinical services as well as experience working in a therapeutic capacity with people with intellectual disabilities would be considered an asset. This position may be exposed to the risk of violent situations.
Travel is a requirement of the position, including overnight stays. A valid driver's license is required as travel will be necessary.
