CLSI is now accepting applications to fill a one-year term position (with the possibility of extension) for a Financial Analyst position within our Finance Division. The Financial Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of information in the corporate and project accounting, work order, and fixed asset management systems in support of Budget and Planning, including maintenance of financial records and systems and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate financial entries into the work order and asset financial management systems.
- Timely and accurate entries into the capital/project accounting system, giving consideration to budget
- Reconciliation of financial documents.
- Preparation of stake holder reports.
- Preparation of claim summaries for submission to funding agencies.
- Filing and other related duties as assigned.
- Assists with the coding of transactions and posting journal entries.
- Maintains records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material; updating records as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Undergraduate Degree or Certificate in Accounting.
- Three or more years of relevant experience is required.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Commitment to deadlines and attention to detail.
- Well-developed problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
