The Regina and Area Sexual Assault Centre is looking for an experienced counsellor who is keen to expand their knowledge and work in gender-based violence and trauma therapy, and contribute to positive systemic change in their community.
We are a respected community agency providing therapeutic support for children, youth and adult survivors of recent sexual assaults, child sexual abuse and intimate partner violence. The successful applicant will benefit from a supportive work environment, manageable case load, hybrid work environment, professional development and regular clinical supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
Working collaboratively within a professional and supportive atmosphere, the clinical counsellor is responsible for providing:
*Short and long-term one-on-one therapeutic counselling
*Therapy groups
*Knowledge-sharing with other professionals
*Participation in projects that enhance systemic response
Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work or Counselling Psychology with 3+ years of mental health experience preferred, or a combination of education, experience and additional training in trauma counselling.
Preference given to those with experience with children and youth.

Registered with a professional licensing body and insurable
Hours and Benefits
