Competencies
(1) Minimum Office Education Program and thorough knowledge of computer systems (Excel, Microsoft Word)
(2) Minimum 1-3 years experience in a progressive office environment. Preference will be given to candidates that have previous experience in a medicaloffice environment.
(3) Typing Ability: Minimum 50 w.p.m.
(4) Maintain a high degree of confidentiality with all interactions and handling of sensitive health information.
(4) Ability to interact with and liaise with the public.
(5) Must have the ability to work independently in dynamic situations requiring a various number of tasks.
(5) Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
(6) The ability to create and maintain documents in an accurate and efficient manner and manage in accordance to relevant privacy legislation.
(7) The ability to deal with incoming calls and persons in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
