The Technical Assistant will assist with all production aspects of summer tour. Most tasks will be overseen by the supervisor and given feedback as to how they can strengthen their skills in each area.  Tasks and responsibilities would include:

Assist with all aspects of pre-production for summer tour and winter show.
Assist the sound and lighting technicians with move in, set up and tear down.
Assist with setting up and tearing down portable stage during Parks Tour.  
Assist in set design and set construction.
Set up set pieces, backdrops, banners and flags during tour.
Assist with recording any background tracks needed for the production during the summer tour.
Set up sound studio for our recording needs for any background tracks or music needed for promotional needs.
Construct and repair touring cases and touring inventory.
Build and acquire props.
Assist with technical aspects at rehearsals.
Assist with set up and tear down at each venue.
Assist with transportation of set, costumes and props.
Transport performers in vans if necessary.
Drive a three-ton truck if necessary.
Assist audio engineer with live mixing of the show.
Represent SaskExpress and liaise with presenters.
