Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.  The position will work as part of the All Nations Healing Hospital and Health Services team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.  

Reporting to the Director of Programs & Community Services, the Administrative Assistant provides day to day logistics of the Jordans Principle Program which include:

Assist with general administrative and financial tasks
Contact families, vendors, professionals
Assist with tracking Jordans Principle applications
Purchase and maintain inventory of program supplies
Research suppliers and obtain quotes for Jordan Principle client approvals
Assist with purchasing approved client equipment, services, etc.
Process and track financial files (approvals, purchase orders, cheque requests, invoices)
Maintain a data base of records, purchases, payments to clients/providers
Provide general administrative duties including occasional support to services across the facility

Qualifications:
Education  Diploma in administration/finance plus one year in providing administrative support or a combination of education and experience
Excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be able to organize work, set priorities and complete assigned tasks within deadlines
Punctual and dependable with an ability to work in a confidential environment
Good working knowledge of various software programs (i.e.  Word, Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Internet)
Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions
Valid Class 5 drivers license
