Skillfully prepare and cook full-course meals or separate dishes and food items.
Follow instructions from chef to prepare and cook customized or from menu meals.
Arrange and supervise the work schedules of kitchen assistants.
Take charge of the overall operations within the kitchen.
Ensure the proper management of inventory, including maintaining records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Organize and oversee buffet arrangements when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and working area.
Participate in menu planning, portion control determination, estimation of food requirements and costs, and monitoring and ordering of supplies.
Recruit and provide training to kitchen staff as needed.
