Additional On-Call Coverage Stipend (SECP)
The Saskatchewan Health Authority, North Battleford is looking for 3 Psychiatrists to join our Mental Health team. You would be working with an excellent team based group that includes 3 other psychiatrists and other Mental Health professionals. This contracted position offers clinical work, in-patient consultations and emergency room coverage. On-call responsibilities are shared between six psychiatrists, including three from the Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford. Office space and support staff are provided by the Health Authority.
1) Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada www.royalcollege.ca.
2) Individuals must be eligible for provisional or regular licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) www.cps.sk.ca
3) Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) is required. www.cmpa-acpm.ca
4) Applicants must have successfully achieved their English Language Proficiency (IELTS) and the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Exam (MCCEE QE1) as requirements for licensure with the CPSS.
In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
