Description

Enviroway Janitorial Supplies is seeking a highly motivated Light Duty Cleaner to join our team. As a leader in the janitorial supply industry, we provide comprehensive cleaning solutions to a wide range of clients. If you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

Type:  Permanent, full-time
Start Time: As soon as Possible

Responsibilities:
- Cleans carpets and rugs by methods such as vacuuming, shampooing, brushing and shaking
- Cleans and disinfects washrooms and replenishes items such as soap and towels.
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors.
- Shampooing and applying cleaning solutions to carpets, using brushes or rotary machines.
- Utilizing portable carpet cleaning equipment, such as extractors or steam cleaners, to clean and extract dirt and moisture from the carpets.
- Visit clients' homes or locations with all the required equipment and supplies.
- Safely transport carpets to the office for further cleaning if the job cannot be completed in one day.
- Return the cleaned carpets to the clients' homes and ensuring their proper placement.
- Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists and tasks
- Perform disinfection procedures in toilets, sinks, counters, etc.
- Remove debris, empty trash containers and replace liners.
- Clean designated building areas, such as houses, apartments, hotels, and other establishments.

Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education.
- A valid driver's license is preferable
- Previous experience as a cleaner or janitor is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and proper handling of waste.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
