Hiring a Retail Store Supervisor

Can Am Travel Stop Inc is a busy and growing gas station in SK Canada providing not only gas sales services but also selling grocery and other miscellaneous products as a convenient store attached in the gas station. We are currently seeking a retail supervisor who is capable of supervising staff at a gas station as well as a convenient store.

Position: Retail Store Supervisor (NOC: 6211)  

Number of Vacancy: 1

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $22 per hour

Number of Staff to supervise: 5 to 6 staff

Language Requirement: English

Work Setting: Gas station with convenience store attached

Duties:
Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
Sell merchandise to customers
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
Coordinate with managers to fulfil any remaining duties
Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff.
