Leroy Feeds is looking for a Mill Maintenance Tech to join our team.  The candidate will be responsible for performing farm & mill maintenance duties such as; install, troubleshoot, repair & maintain production & facility equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the feedmill's facility equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production & performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
- Perform general greasing of machinery.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
- Perform some carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand/power tools.
- Detect faulty operations.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.
- Manage & maintain parts inventory
- Perform tasks as assigned by the Feed Mill Supervisor.
- Maintain complete/accurate records of maintenance inspections and repairs
- Read/Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required servicing.
Qualifications:
2 Years Experience (Preferred)
Basic welding would be an asset
Effective problem-solving skills
Very good understanding of boiler systems
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently & part of a team
Strong organizational and project mgmt skills
Positive attitude
Flexibility & adaptability to workload/tasks
Willing to do call backs and weekends when needed
