The Northeast Regional Housing Authority is currently hiring for a full time MAINTENANCE WORKER.  The primary location of work will be in Sandy Bay.  If you are ambitious and skilled in building and property maintenance, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll do:
building maintenance - service and repair
vacancy preparation
grounds maintenance
maintain housing authority equipment and inventory

What we're looking for:
experience repairing building mechanical equipment; custodial and maintenance work
knowledge in a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, heating, mechanical, painting, electrical, and grounds work
ability to promote and participate in positive working relationships with management, staff, and tenants
ability to lift heavy loads
basic computer skills

What you'll need:
Minimum Grade 12 education
Training in a technical or building trade (carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
1 - 3 years' experience in a maintenance and repair environment OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
A valid driver's license and a suitable, roadworthy vehicle
An approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) Criminal Record Check
