Opening for Cashiers for busy 24 hr. Truck Stop. Variable Shifts available. Candidate must be able to work nights and weekends. Retail experience is asset but on job training will be provided.
1. Greet customers and operate a cash register and receive and process point of sales transactions, either by cash or credit card transaction.
2. Perform relative duties when shift occurs during opening and or closing of store.
3. Take instruction from Supervising staff members with regards to work schedules and training duties
4. Ensure general cleanliness and organization of stock room and storage rooms.
5. Stock shelves and ensure prices are correct to maintain store sales margins.
6. Count money in cash drawers to ensure shift workers amounts are correct and adequate change is left for the next shift.
7. Food preparation for some resale items.
