RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide a high level of customer service and sales of Building Material products and services.
Providing information, assistance and service to the customers in a manner which will promote the
sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the customer.
2. Loading products for customers.
3. Responsible for the appropriate supply of brochures and pamphlets and point of sale materials
when required. Must advise Manager of special or out of stock merchandise requested by
customer. Assist with answering department phone(s).
4. Operating point of sales system and cash reconciliation. Must also maintain a constant alert
against the unauthorized removal of merchandise. Assist with preparing quotes, taking payments,
receiving and invoicing, inventory counts and control processes.
5. Responsible to adjust minor complaints in accordance with general sales policy and refer more
serious complaints to the appropriate personnel.
6. Adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures.

8. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Customer/retail service experience considered an asset. Able to work a variety of shifts including
weekends. Heavy lifting required. Strong computer skills. A pleasant and out-going personality. A
desire and ability to work with the public. Position is classified as Safety Sensitive. Therefore, is
subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol and Substance policy as a condition of employment.
