RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements prices changes in the Bakery/Deli Department, and other areas as required.
Maintains all signage and labels.
Performs price verifications & corrects any pricing discrepancies.
Administers start and end-of-day procedures.
Utilize RCBK for invoice processing.
Ensure accuracy of electronic shelf labels.
Assists with on-the-job training of department employees and managers in areas of
product knowledge, shelf maintenance, signage, display and POS operation.
Responsible for the complete pricing changeover from existing sale to new sale.
Complete orders and bookings.
Ensure quality customer service is provided at tills.
Oversee shift change and scheduling of breaks.
To assist with supervision and training of other clerks.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 education and competent computer skills. Must have a valid drivers license as
travel may be required. Must be open to work a variety of shifts including evenings,
weekends, and some STAT holidays. Will provide holiday coverage as required.
Experience is an asset. Position is classified as Safety Sensitive; Therefore, is subject to
Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol and Substance policy as a condition of employment.
