The Service and Shipping Technician plays a key role in Schulte Industries meeting its organizational objectives. Schultes is looking for a motivated individual who is looking to learn and develop new skills.
Essential Functions of the Job
1. Perform inspections on machinery prior to shipping; ensure quality standards are met and all components intact
2. Reconfigure machines to customer specifications as required; ensure check lists are complete for each machine
3. Load machines onto trailers or into containers using forklifts and overhead cranes
4. Prepare any parts for shipment via truck
5. Perform checks on every load to ensure everything is correct and properly secured
6. Assemble kits as needed for reconfiguration
7. Racking and crating machinery for oversea container shipments
8. Follow the requirements of the QMS as it pertains to inspection control of non-conforming product
9. Build skids used for shipping
10. Follow all safe work procedures
