As the Electrical and Mechanical Service Technician, you will:
- Work on the ambulance and bus remount process by coordinating the removal of existing ambulance modules or bodies from old chassis and transferring them to new or upgraded chassis.
- Collaborate with mechanical and technical teams to replace and enhance engine, transmission, suspension, and other mechanical components for improved performance and reliability.
- Manage interior upgrades to optimize patient care, medical equipment accommodation, and ergonomic enhancements for medical personnel.
- Install equipment, and medical devices to ensure ambulances and other vehicles are equipped with the latest technology.
- Integrate advanced safety features, such as airbags, antilock braking systems, and stability control.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards set by healthcare and emergency services authorities during the remount process.
- Repair vehicles, such as ambulances, buses, wheelchair lifts, as per service work order.
As the Electrical and Mechanical Service Technician, you will bring:
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanics, either in automotive or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, technology integration, and modern communication equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of 12-volt and 110-volt fitting hoses, electrical systems, and test equipment.
