The Town of Assiniboia and Assiniboia ECC is currently seeking an applicant for the Playschool facilitator and
Family center program coordinator. The program will begin in operation from Mid September June.
Playschool will be offered 2 half days a week with an open play another half day a week. With the programs
and program planning the job will be 16-20 hours a week. Days of the week will be determined upon hire.
Responsibilities of the successful applicant will include coordinating activities, events and lesson plans for the
playschool using the model of Play and exploration. Delivery, planning and supervision of Open Play
sessions for families within the Centre. Open play sessions will be created to meet the social, emotional and
age appropriate developmental needs of children age 0-5. Other activities will be general cleaning and
maintenance of the family center. There may also be some coordinating and scheduling involved for other
family center events with the Assiniboia Early Childhood Coalition. The individual will also have some
responsibility to manage program budget.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Ability to Supervise
- 11-15 people
