Mixed Grain and Cattle.
Harvesting labourers assist to plant, harvest, store, and transport grain crops. They participate in soil preparation, planting, spraying and harvesting crops.
Main duties
Harvest Labourer may perform some or all of the following duties:
o Prepare soils with valmar, rock picker or protill.
o Will help to Plant, fertilize and harvest crops.
o May Operate roller, rock picker, seeder during seeding.
o May Operate Combine, tandems or grain cart during harvest.
o May operate other farm equipment as needed.
o Clean harvest bins and general yard maintenance.
o Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
o May write progress reports of equipment maintenance.
