Bruno's Place Emergency Shelter is seeking a weekend kitchen cook. Scheduled hours are for Friday 11am-3pm and 10am-5pm either Saturday or Sunday. Additional hours may be offered during the week to cover for the weekday cook. Applicants must possess Safe Food Handling and have some experience with catering and/or preparing food in a restaurant kitchen. Baking simple desserts, washing dishes, and cleaning are also an expected part of the job. Applicant will be trained to assist shelter staff as needed. Applications from outside of Canada will not be considered. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
