Prairie Co-operative is hiring a Full Time Logistics Coordinator at our Home Centre in Melville, SK.

What youll do:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout the organization. This is accomplished through proper planning, warehousing and transportation of inventory. The Logistics Coordinator will coordinate how all commodity products are delivered to ensure customer demands are met.
Responsible to provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service to all customers.
Work with all Division Managers and Team Leaders to gather required volumes to ensure supply and demand needs are met and product is properly distributed.
Coordinate the processes of the HUB and Spoke model which includes tracking and monitoring product inventory, orders, shipments etc
Liaise with trucking to ensure proper bookings of product, ensuring timely delivery to all locations based on business needs while building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and retailers
Other duties as assigned

Availability: This position is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with some exceptions during emergency situations

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and:
You have a Grade 12 education
One year of logistics experience is considered an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
