Meadow Lake and District Early Years Family Resource Centre Requires Full Time Permanent Early Years Facilitator

Overview of Responsibilities:
*  Early Years Facilitators will work under the direction of the Early Years Family Resource Centre Co-Coordinators.  
*  Work as part of a team to create a rich learning environment for families at the Early Years Family Centre site, including family free play and scheduled sessions with programming partners.
*  Plan, organize and/or facilitate age appropriate play based learning that reflects the stages of child development.
*  Provide families with connections to community services/programs/agencies as required or as requested by the family.

Qualifications:
The successful applicants will have a combination of the following experience and training:
*  Knowledge of child development and family systems.
*  Knowledge of services available in the community.
*  Knowledge of quality early learning environments and invitations for play.
*  Demonstrates strong cultural competence and awareness and respect for family diversity.
*  Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
*  Ability to communicate effectively.
*  Effective technological skills.  
*  Experience working as part of a team.
*  Ability to work flexible hours, including regular business hours, early evenings and weekends.
*  Valid first aid / CPR.
*  Valid drivers license.
*  Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check will be required.
