The Resort at Cypress Hills looks for charming, confident and sophisticated people who do all they can to exceed guest expectations.
At the moment we're looking for a Groups & Events Coordinator to share in our success at The Resort. This is a varied role which combines conference & events and group reservations. Confident and professional in your approach, you'll have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships. You'll provide the link between the customer and the Resort to ensure that all information pertaining to their meeting, event or group is communicated clearly to the relevant resort personnel in a timely manner.
Ideally you'll have a sound knowledge of Conference & Events operations and a strong commitment to customer service. Previous experience in a hotel is preferred. You will have an organized nature, great attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You will also possess initiative, have the capability to manage multiple tasks at once and have advanced knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
This position also has a marketing component in which you will develop market and promote internal events to increase business through The Resort. You will design and create content for internal and external advertising as well as create content and monitor social media marketing.
