Essential Functions of the Job:
1. Follow all company safety rules
2. Move parts from fabrication to the proper staging area
3. Sort weld assemblies, parts and stage in proper location in a timely fashion as per supervisor request
4. Ensure all materials delivered in a timely fashion
5. Handle material from warehouse for pre assembly and final assembly.
6. Kitting of parts for pre-assembly and final assembly.
7. Identify and report any possible quality problems with parts
8. Ensure accurately labels of materials
9. Follow up any inaccuracies or discrepancies and coordinates with proper personnel
10. Notifies proper personnel/Supervisor of shortages in material required to complete work.
11. Counts inventory as required
12. May assist in expediting parts through the production process
13. Performs multiple visits daily to all areas ensuring materials needs are filled (milk runs)
14. Night Shift Material handler responsibilities also include warehouse technician tasks as required to support the night shift.
