Reporting directly to the Board of Directors of the West Zone Board, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will manage the day-to-day operations of the office, develop and manage recreational programming which includes recruitment of instructors, booking facilities, managing online registration, collecting registration fees, and reporting the financial results of each recreational program offered.
Preferred Qualifications
-Knowledge of recreational programming (including registration programs like Ivrnet, Amelia SmartRec)
-Office 365 (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Sharepoint)
-Accounting and payroll knowledge.
Candidates that do not meet all the qualifications but are willing to learn and can work independently are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
This is a part-time hybrid position: 10-40 hours per week depending on the time of year (average 20 hours/week). The hours of work vary based on the needs of the organization and the availability of the successful candidate.
The CAO will also work closely with Affiliate Groups which includes the Regina West Zone Indoor Soccer Association, Regina West Zone Soccer Association (outdoor), Regina North West Sports Association (t-ball, softball, and power skating), and the West Zone Community Gardens, as well as ten (10) community associations located in the west zone of the City.
A criminal record check is required, the cost of which will be covered by the West Zone Board, for the successful candidate.
The office is located in the Northwest Leisure Centre, located at 1127 Arnason Street.
