JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the daily shift operations of Housekeeping and works with employees to verify property guestrooms, supplies and storage rooms are clean and well maintained. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Ensures prompt communication of guest room statuses to the Front Desk, organizes room cleaning assignments efficiently, and checks inventory levels for supplies.
Manages inspections for guest rooms and public spaces, and ensures staff has necessary supplies and equipment.
Oversees daily Housekeeping operations, enforcing policies and procedures.
Utilizes available on-the-job training resources to instruct and oversee new room attendants, adjusting training as needed.
Manages employee schedules based on business demands, monitors attendance, and ensures staff comprehension of expectations and policies.
Supervises staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational goals, and financial targets are achieved, offering feedback and recognition to team members as part of progressive discipline procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
-Completed Post-secondary education (Required)
-Housekeeping 2 Years (preferred)
-Housekeeping Supervisor 1 Year (preferred)
-Valid Saskatchewan Drivers license (preferred)
