Description

Hawk's Agro, a division of the JGL group, is a proud locally owned and operated independent agriculture retailer, based in seven locations throughout South Western Saskatchewan.  We are currently recruiting for a Seasonal Floater Operator to join our team based out of our Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan location.   This is a seasonal position  (September 2023 through February 2024).

Duties & Responsibilities
    Operation of the floater.
    Accurately and safely apply fertilizer or herbicide as per the work order
    Communicate with customers to ensure quality and accuracy
    Perform daily maintenance of floating equipment
    Deliver farm input products from our facilities to farm customers and transfer products between our locations in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
    On occasion, attend other JGL facilities to work at that location for the day.
    Assist in receiving and shipping of farm supplies within the facility.  
    Ensure accuracy of records and products.
    Assist in maintaining accurate inventory control.
    Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Qualifications
    Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.  
    Must possess a valid drivers license
    Proven ability to work with others (team player), as well as the ability to work independently
    Ability to work long hours when required
    Work may involve some evenings and weekends
    Familiarity with spraying equipment is a definite asset
    Knowledge of Western Canadian Agriculture and past experience will be considered an asset but not a requirement
