Description

The Development & Major Gifts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in securing and seeking funding and sponsorships for our major events and establishing long term donor relationships through our major gifts program. The successful candidate will be a key driver in ensuring the financial sustainability of our Foundation and contributing to continued growth in Southwest Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and cultivate potential sponsors for Foundation events, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships
- Develop and implement a major gifts program, focusing on annual giving and planned giving
- Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new sponsors and donors alike
- Participate and assist in organization of Foundation events, meetings and activities to enhance donor relations

Qualifications:

- Experience in fundraising, donor relations is an asset
- Sales background is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build, maintain and grow relationships
- Outgoing personality and strong conversation skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- A passion for healthcare and commitment to the Foundations mission
- Must be willing to work occasional evening and weekends with various Foundation events

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal record check.
