Discovery Co-Operative is Hiring a Full-Time Liquor Clerk I

Employment Terms:  Permanent - Full Time  

What youll do:
1. Ensures a high level of prompt, efficient and friendly service to customers and members
2. Operate the point-of-sale terminal as required and prepares daily cash reconciliation
3. Handle any customer complaints or issues of a minor nature
4. Adheres to department buying and selling policies
5. Assist in receiving and warehousing of department merchandise
6. Monitors inventory levels, organizes and stocks merchandise
7. Operate equipment necessary to prepare merchandise for sale
8. Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Department Manager
9. Ensure alignment with Serve it Right Saskatchewan for the responsible sale and service of alcohol
10. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties as per co-operative guidelines
11. Adhere and enforce all human resources, safety and departmental policies and procedures
12. Cross train and support other departments or roles as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Previous retail sales experience preferred
3. Must be at least 19 years of age

Wage and Benefits: $15.31 per hour and you will be eligible to a comprehensive benefit package and an employer-contributed pension plan
