We are actively hiring Permanent Chicken Plant Labourers at our Sofina Lilydale chicken processing plant in Wynyard, Saskatchewan. NO previous experience required! On-the-job training provided.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor, the Labourer is responsible to perform duties accurately and efficiently to process chicken products in an assembly line style manufacturing environment doing repetitive work.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in a processing chicken plant, slaughtering and removing viscera and other inedible parts, cutting, trimming, packaging chicken, clean machines and other immediate work areas and perform other labouring duties as assigned.
Work will be in varied temperature environments ranging from hot to cold, doing repetitive tasks while standing during your work shift.
Accountable to ensure a food safe work environment.
May have to safely operate motorized power equipment in some roles.
Requirements:
Good workplace attendance and work ethic is required.
Primary language of work is English.
Plant is located at 502 Bosworth Street in Wynyard, Saskatchewan.
