The Rosetown Housing Authority (RHA) is currently recruiting for a part time Tenant Relations Officer to work 3 days/week. This is a term position for 18 months with the possibility of becoming full time and permanent.
What you'll do:
- review and recommend applications for housing to the Board for approval
- process housing applications, conduct income reviews, calculate rental fees, and collect rent
- manage tenant related concerns, appeals, evictions, and complaints in a professional, tactful manner
- ensure that housing authority units are leased, rents collected, move in/outs completed, home visits are conducted, arrears action plans developed, income reviews completed on existing tenants, and units are allocated in a timely manner to approved applicants

- ability to problem solve, manage conflict and stressful situations
- superior administrative and accounting skills
- accountability and ownership of the role with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
What you'll need:
- A Certificate in Business, Management, or Property Management and 2 years' relevant experience (equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)
- respect for the diversity of others
- proven expertise using Microsoft Office products
- a valid driver's license and a licensed roadworthy vehicle
- an on-line Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of hire
