Description

1    Supervise clerks in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories.
2    Facilitate communication between different departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service.
3    Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance on best practices, safety procedures, and job-specific skills.
4    Address and resolve any issues that arise during warehouse operations, such as delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies.
5    Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement.
6    Continuously analyze warehouse operations to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing costs.
7    Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff attendance to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation.
8    Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work.
