Are you great with numbers, and even better at building relationships? We're looking for a finance-savvy, dedicated Financial Services Advisor to join our team at the Kipling branch of Cornerstone Credit Union!
As a Financial Services Advisor or you'll be an important part of a team of knowledgeable salespeople who share a genuine commitment in partnering with our members to achieve their financial goals. You will create exceptional member experiences for both new and existing members by delivering smart financial advice, solutions and alternatives through proactive needs-based sales and services. You'll provide insight to our members in areas like accounts, consumer investments (term deposits and registered products), consumer lending products and services (including mortgages) credit cards and ancillary products all intended to help members meet their financial success. You will develop solid working relationships with our members and work hand in hand with many areas of our organization in providing excellent member service!
*This position is considered full time (37.50 hours/week) for an anticipated approximate 16-month term only, the actual length of which could be shortened or lengthened including the possibility of becoming permanent depending upon organizational requirements.
Post-secondary education in Business or a related field or at least 1 to 3 years of job-related experience including working knowledge of deposit and lending products and services is the minimum requirement for this position, but you'll have a leg up if you have previous experience with selling mutual fund products or prior completion of the mutual funds sales course.
