The WDM Yorkton is seeking a Programs and Volunteer Coordinator who will ensure that the diversity of Saskatchewans people, places and stories are reflected in the learning programs of the Western Development Museum. This is an acting position for a five (5) month term from October 2, 2023 to February 23, 2024.
The Programs and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for:
Implementing a variety of learning strategies to engage diverse audiences.
Planning, coordinating and delivering school and public programs, both on and off site.
Assisting teachers and groups in planning, coordinating and managing Museum visits.
Administers the WDM Volunteer Program locally including recruiting, orientation, training and evaluation of volunteers and volunteer activities.
