Opportunity:
We are looking for entry level Plant Care Labourers to assist the Facility Lead with day to day tasks and set up of our production plant.
Technical skills, attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills are important.

Duties:
Maintaining and supporting all production activities: cleaning, sanitizing, janitorial, maintenance and repairs, plant care, transplanting, pruning, pulling leaves, watering, hand feeding, insect management, etc.
Daily documentation as per Health Canada standards, in all areas of the facility.
Ensuring facility equipment is being maintained to meet production requirements.
Addressing and reporting facility safety and production concerns to the Facility Lead.
Work conditions:
Strong cannabis odours.
Exposure to heat and humidity in indoor greenhouse conditions.
Extended exposure to bright lights.
Being on ones feet for 8 hours at a time.
Physical labour, standing, bending, walking, lifting 40 lbs.
Repetitive tasks requiring great attention to detail.
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Wearing hairnets.
Not wearing makeup OR nail polish OR scented products OR jewelry (including watches) unless medically required.

Certification considered an asset (but not required):
CPR/SFA
WHIMIS
OHC Level 1&2
Other training, certification or knowledge considered an asset (but not required):
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Good Production Practices (GPP)
Quality Assurance in the Cannabis Industry
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Health and Safety Training
Additional requirements:
- The candidate must pass the mandatory background and security clearance check required by Health Canada.
- must be 19 years of age
